The Song-Ba Empowerment Centre, a registered non-governmental organization in Ghana, is dedicated to empowering women through support for young girls, vocational training, career development, and the provision of soft loans to women in rural areas via the Song-Ba Savings and Loans Association program. The center's initiatives impact at least sixty (60) women and girls. To restore hope among vulnerable women, young girls, and communities, the center has trained twenty (20) women in Shea Butter production in Savelugu, Northern Ghana. The Song-Ba Empowerment Centre believes that, with the right support, these beneficiaries can scale up their operations and produce high-quality Shea Butter for both local and international markets. In its mission to combat poverty among vulnerable women, including the elderly, single parents, and girls in Northern Ghana, the organization, led by Wendy Kodoa Wedam, welcomes collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships with local and international entities.
